Urgent Attention Needed: Irregularities in Recruitment of Singapore Auxiliary Police Officers

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to bring to your attention a matter of utmost importance regarding the recruitment process for Singapore Auxiliary Police Officers conducted by the Sri Lanka Foreign Employment Agency.

Numerous candidates who participated in this recruitment drive have voiced serious concerns about irregularities in the process. These concerns have been evident from the comments posted on the Sri Lanka Foreign Employment Agency's Facebook page, where a majority of responses indicate dissatisfaction & mistrust among the participants. You can find the relevant Facebook page @MostTrustedRecruitmentAgent

The implications of these irregularities are grave. If unfit individuals are recruited & sent to Singapore for training, there is a significant risk of failure. Should these individuals fail to meet the required standards & be sent back to Sri Lanka, it would result in a substantial loss for the Singaporean government. Moreover, it could potentially compromise the safety & security standards upheld by the Singapore Police Force.

In light of these concerns, I urgently request your esteemed office to investigate the matter thoroughly & take appropriate action to rectify any irregularities in the recruitment process. It is imperative that only qualified & capable individuals are selected for training as Auxiliary Police Officers to ensure the integrity & effectiveness of Singapore's law enforcement efforts.

I believe that swift & decisive action is necessary to address this issue & prevent any further detriment to the reputation & operations of the Singapore Police Force. Your attention & intervention in this matter are greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your prompt consideration.

Yours sincerely,
Ruwan Kariyawasam (Participant in the interview held on April 30, 2024)
